We've had a busy, busy three years since returning from Alabama. Family, work, temple, family, and more family. It's been wonderful. We started out with taking down the steel shop in our back yard and building a lovely "cottage" to house my quilting machine. It is dubbed the "Quilt Cottage" and we've already had fun gatherings with family and friends there. It's even been a bedroom on occasion!
We have built a beautiful water/rock feature basically where the fence used to be--tons (literally) of thanks to Marilyn and Lambert for sharing their amazing rocks with us. And wonderful friends who were good enough to come over and help place them.
Richard put in some steps that should last the ages........his usual, thorough job.
And today! They came to hydro-seed the lawn! We are thrilled! It should be ready for a July 4th party--which is none too soon as we are hosting Roger's brother and sisters and their families for a reunion later in July! Whew!
This fall we are off to another adventure!! We have been called to serve in the Brazil Salvador South Mission!! So now we have added Portuguese lessons to our busy schedules. Written all out like this makes it look a little daunting, but we have received so many blessings along the way, I'm sure we will be able to do the important things. Some of you have asked if I am going to use this blog to "report". That is my plan at this time.
I'll try to keep you more up to date of our comings and goings. Life is good. God is generous. And we are so thankful for His continued blessings.
